Hi Marc,

Really nice surprise :) - picked up the link from UKTS!

Payment on its way - looking forward to getting back on the pass after years spent on the old MSTS version...

Yes ordered and trying to download now - only issue is server seems a bit slow, only managing around 188 Kb/s and that's with Getright (was about 80 K/bs with standard IE downloader).

May have to finish grabbing tomorrow, not sure if anything can be done to speed things up a bit?

It was fairly slow for me as well.  I imagine there must be alot of server traffic from people downloading the route.

The route appears to be more popular than I anticipated. My apologies for the slow sever.

I know it's a little early in the creation of the Tehachapi Pass route. But what are the possibilities of eventually expanding the route all the way to Barstow and or to West Colton? Maybe even merge it into the Cajon Pass route. Just an idea.

I may go to as far as Palmdale, but very doubtful I'll extend further from there.

Cheers!

What is behind Bakersfield UP and BNSF? Is there a chance to have a loading facility for the crude oil trains? It is still completely bare at the western end, hard to imagine how it will end up.

Oil City will probably not be included, as this version is modern and the area is not quite as busy as it was in the ATSF/SP era.

Cheers!
