They need cab rework done on them, and also possibly some sounds. The SD90 has had a tweak to the model done to make it more correct, and the SD80 needs to have it done also. I have been really busy with a new job, and other "life" issues. As for a definite date... I'm sorry to report that I don't have a specific one. My goal is to have them up and running again by mid September.

Kyle:

Then I would guess that all that mumbo jumbo on the license issue(s) has been resolved?

Craig,

As far as UP is concerned, it was resolved before they were first offered. I am waiting for approval from CP for a payware license, and I believe Kyle has received approval for a freeware skin of the CP unit.

Erik is correct on this. All members of SLW are covered by the UP licensing for freeware and payware items. I also received the ok by Harold Clitheroe on the CP freeware skins.

Last week we recevied authorization from CP to release the engine in their livery as either freeware or payware.

What is left to do before the loco's are released?

The SP unit IS of course still in the mix?

I for one will be glad when they are released. The only thing that caught me by surprise is the SP numbers
0001 & 0002 Oh well, still the best looking units in the pack.

He told me last week he only had the sounds to finish. He has started a new job about a month or so ago and his time has become more precious.
I am just anxious about it as you all are. tongue.gif

Well things are prgressing rather well....like I said in a previous post, we are working with some one for the the sounds and hopefully they will be done shortly. The font on the NS sd80 still needs to be replaced, although he has it so it is just a matter of replacing it. In the mean time he has updated the shape file a bit and the cab view was modeled from pics of the real deal.
I hope to have some pics of the rest of the units this weekend sometime, but no promises.
