Wow those Alcos look Sweet. What type of Horns did these badboys have? They almost look like Either a Leslie or a Nathan Horn.

Gaetan,

thank you very much for sending me the download link so fast that I could take the engines for a test ride last night!

I placed the consists that came with the set somewhere on the Pokey, tried different times of day, and was stunned how absolutely "right" the engines looked on that route. For me this is your best engine set! biggrin.gif

Now, all we need is a "Gaetan-style" N&W caboose! tongue.gif Any chance?

Gaetan,

I browsed through the pictures of NW cabooses at the "fallen flags" website and couldn't find one that looks 100% the same as your EL caboose, but many that looked very similar. Also, I couldn't find any data on the dimensions of NW cabooses on the net mellow.gif . Perhaps somebody else can help?

However, I wouldn't mind having a NW version of your EL caboose wink.gif .

And that one was in service closer to the same time frame as the ENGs than the first one suggested.

have not got them into the sim yet as i have been out, and before i use them i will apply the front coupler fix as i do to all my stock nd move them (with suitable aterations so they can all exist together) into one folder, i have 2 very busy days ahead so will probably not get to run them until saturday night.

as for the route do a search in TS Com for P&WV and the route should come up with updates and activities 13 files in total

Also, there is an Activity Generator template available for the PWV route at Skyline Computing, which will permit creation of an almost infinite variety of activities. The new GB/VScale NW Alcos can be substituted into the activities as they are generated.

Yes, this loco pack is fabulous. For a long time, I have longed for a good set of NW Alcos to run on Pocahontas, Bluefield East, Clinch, PWV, etc. These are all very nice routes made nicer by this wonderful set of locos.

It looks very good, but I'm not sure about the combination of the logo and the lettering (font):

Outstanding!! Now I got to talk the wife out of some of the "folden money" so I can get'em!

Gaetan, I live near SEVERAL N&W cabooses, most fully restored, if you want I can snag some photos for you, one is 3 miles away. wink.gif

Just say the word!
